ADDHAAR PAYMENT BRIDGE SYSTEM
The Goa Urban Cooperative Bank Limited. has commenced opening of Aadhaar Enabled Accounts, linking of existing Bank Accounts and integrating the same with National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI)
Aaddhaar Payment Bridge System (APBS) is a payment service offered by NPCI using the Aaddhaar number issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UDAI)
Aaddhaar will support various Government schemes like NREGA, Social Security Pension, Handicapped Old Age Pension, LPG Connection/Refills (subsidy refunds) etc. of Central or State Government. APBS will also promote retail payments electronically.
We urgently appeal to all our customers to submit their AADHAAR Card details to enable us to link to NPCI and thus update customers on the fate of their transactions.
